| OEM pistons that were pulled from the engine originally, OEM rods also. Installing new OEM rings and bearings. Grade for the bearings were acquired from the block/crankshaft. I am aware of putting the ring inside the cylinder, pushing it down with a piston and using a feeler gauge to check the end gap. Also, with the help of a few knowledgeable members on TT.net I was informed on what to do to install the new rings on the pistons. I have access to micrometers and bore gauges, and picked up plastigauges also to double check the bearing clearances, however, for some reason I am still afraid of actually putting everything together. I keep worrying that I am going to screw something up.
I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
